Barenbrugge cues are incredibly hard to come by; so if you’ve been looking for one, don’t let this slip away.
This build features Dave’s high-tier ringwork in all positions, a detail rarely seen even among his own cues.
The Cocobolo used here has a particularly vibrant reddish tone—far richer than the typical orange-brown you often see.
Most Barenbrugge cues come with just a butt-side joint protector, but I went the extra mile and had Dave make matching shaft-side JPs to complete the set.
Since Dave doesn’t usually offer engravings, I asked for a way to tell the shafts apart inside the case.
Dave then, opted for a clean Cocobolo inlay on one of the shaft JPs—a subtle, elegant touch that makes the whole set feel even more complete.
This cue is thoughtful, refined, and it plays just as well as it looks.
(Please note that these flaws are minimal and hard to spot in person. Studio lighting was used to highlight them for close-up shots.)
